Sparsh STQC-Certified Cameras: All 43 Models, 5 Certificates, and the Two That Lapsed
Per the signed PDFs, two of Sparsh's five STQC IoTSCS ER certificates expired on 5 Sep 2026: ER/001 and ER/004, covering 18 of the 43 listed models. ER/005 (nine PTZs) runs to 26 May 2027; ER/039 and ER/040 (16 models) run to 13 Aug 2028. STQC's web pages for ER/001–005 show different dates.
Verified against
- STQC, IoTSCS Certified Product list as per the Essential Requirements (ERs): rows 1–3 and 19–20 link the five Sparsh PDFs (re-read 13 Oct 2026).
- The five certificate PDFs linked below. They are scans; model strings were read from the page image, cover list against annexure. Downloaded 7 and 13 Oct 2026, MD5 unchanged.
- STQC per-certificate web pages ER/001, ER/004, ER/005 (read 13 Oct 2026); their dates conflict with the PDFs, see below.
- STQC, IoTSCS scheme page, for the registry-status notice (re-read 13 Oct 2026).
- BIS CRS, List of Registrations and models of CCTVs complying with ER for Security, S.No 65 and 66 (re-read 13 Oct 2026).
- Sparsh (sparshsecuritech.com) product specification pages, linked in the model-code section.
- Checked 13 Oct 2026.
Registry status: frozen list, CRO route now
The scheme page says the PPO list for network cameras "is no longer being updated and is retained solely for historical reference", and cites MeitY circular No. W-18/26/2025-IPHW of 04.02.2026: STQC "will issue the test report for Security as per the Essential Requirements (ERs) under CRO". So a renewed ER/001 or ER/004 would not appear on this list. For a lapsed model, ask for the BIS R-number or a CRO test report; the routes are compared in STQC ER vs BIS CRS, CRO vs PPO.

What the PDFs print beyond the list.
- ER/001, 004 and 005 each say "This amended certificate supersedes and replaces" the copy dated 23.08.2024. Those 2024 copies are still on stqc.gov.in (/2024-08/1st row, 2nd row, 3rd row Certificate.pdf) but not linked from the list. ER/001 and ER/004 printed the same 2026 expiry before amendment.
- ER/039 and ER/040 have no Brand Name field (OEM only); ER/001, 004 and 005 print "Brand Name: Sparsh".
- In ER/005's product images, label SS-EM212-(I) sits under Fig. 1 while the table assigns Fig. 1 to SS-EN212P-(I), and one label reads "SS-IND412-I". Quote the annexure table.
- ER/039 and ER/040 state major attributes: "5MP & 4K Resolutions" and "2MP & 4MP Resolutions" respectively.
Separate, not part of the STQC list: BIS CRS registration R-83005371 (Samriddhi Automations, brand printed "sparsh with label", status Registered, valid to 24-JUN-2028) names 89 models in its "Complying with Security ER" column. All 43 above are among them, including the 18 on expired STQC certificates, plus 46 others (SC-INA, SC-ISE, SC-IST, SC-ICA series and SC-INWR3TP-4G). Its 141 "Analog CCTV Camera Models" are not ER models. S.No 66, R-83007595 (same manufacturer, brand blank, analog only), shows "Deferred". How to read these entries: checking a BIS R-number.
How to read a Sparsh model code
Sparsh publishes no decoding key. This is read off its own product pages, which print codes without brackets (SC-IND22DP-IZS for SC-IND22DP-I(Z)(S); SS-EN212P-I for SS-EN212P-(I)).
| Part | Sparsh page example | What Sparsh's pages show |
|---|---|---|
| DP / BP / XP | SC-IND22DP-IZS, SC-IND22XP-IZS | Dome / bullet / box. But SC-IND42BP-IZS sits under "wedge cameras" |
| 2 / 4 / 5 / 8 (first digit) | 2MP dome, 4MP wedge, 5MP dome, 8MP box pages | Resolution class. Conflict: SC-IND41BP-IZS sits on a "5mp" URL with a 5MP sensor |
| IL | SC-IL22BP-IZS | Stainless-steel category |
| IPX / EX | SC-IPX200BP-20W, SS-EX202-I-H | Explosion-proof category; "W" variant = "with wiper" |
| IS82 | SC-IS82BP-IS | 4K fisheye, 1.8 mm lens |
The EX page lists "SS-EX202-I-H, SS-EX202-I-B1"; the certificate says SS-EX202-I-B. Treat B1 as uncertified until Sparsh confirms in writing.
Where brands differ
Across the 53 certificates (196 models) on the same STQC list: Prama 58 models (earliest expiry 2027-10-07), CP Plus 45 (2027-07-17), Sparsh 43, Matrix 36 (2028-03-03). Sparsh is the only one of the four with lapsed certificates, and its live ER/005 expires soonest. Matrix's list: Matrix STQC-certified cameras; upcoming lapses across brands are in STQC certificates expiring in the next six months.
What breaks in a factory
- Firmware drift. Certificates pin V 6.5 (ER/001–005) and V6.3 (ER/039–040), with hashes. ONVIF's declaration for SC-IND42DP-IZS was filed on firmware V.5.1 (2024). Record firmware at handover.
- PoE budget. Sparsh's pages give fixed cameras "DC 12V ±10% / PoE (802.3af)", PTZs "DC 24V ±10%, PoE+ (802.3at)", and SC-IPX200BP-20 "PoE++ / DC 48V ±10%". An af-only switch will not run the PTZs.
- Heat and dust. Fixed and PTZ pages state IP67, IK10 and up to 70 °C; the explosion-proof pages state IP68 but 60 °C maximum. The certificate covers none of this.
- Hazardous areas. STQC tests cybersecurity, not Ex protection. See explosion-proof CCTV and PESO.
- Box labels. The certificate photos show the exact model string on each label. Audit by label, not the purchase order.
When to call the installer / what to ask the vendor
- For ER/001 and ER/004 models: a CRO test report or written confirmation of BIS R-83005371 coverage, dated after 5 Sep 2026.
- The certificate PDF from stqc.gov.in naming the exact string, not the 2024 copy.
- Shipped firmware versus the annexure version.
- For SS-EX202-I-B1: which certificate covers it.

FAQ
Is Sparsh CCTV STQC certified? Specific models are, not the brand. 43 Sparsh model strings sit on five STQC ER certificates; per the PDFs, 18 of them (ER/001, ER/004) expired on 5 Sep 2026. The certificate checker shows the status by model.
Is Sparsh a Make in India brand? The certificates name Samriddhi Automations' plant at SIDCUL, Haridwar as the manufacturing location and Noida as firmware development; certificate photos show "Made in India" labels. They also print the Ambarella chipset's country of origin as United States. Local value addition is a separate test.
How do I check the STQC certificate of a CCTV camera? Open the PDF from the STQC list, match the model string character for character, read "Certificate Expiry", and scan the QR code. If it has expired, ask for the BIS R-number or a CRO test report.
