CP Plus STQC-Certified Cameras: All 45 Models and Their Certificates (India)
STQC's IoTSCS Essential Requirements list carries 45 CP Plus camera models on 10 certificates, all issued to Aditya Infotech Ltd. The earliest certificates (ER/010, ER/011) expire 17.07.2027 and the newest, ER/70, runs to 06.01.2029. The list itself is frozen: STQC says it is retained "solely for historical reference". Match the exact model string, suffix included.
Verified against
- STQC IoTSCS certified product list (ERs): stqc.gov.in list page, 53 certificate rows.
- STQC IoTSCS scheme page with the status notice: stqc.gov.in/en/iot-system-certification-scheme-iotscs-0, re-read on 7 Oct 2026.
- The 10 CP Plus certificate PDFs linked in the table; each model read from the page image and cross-checked cover page ↔ annexure (checksums logged).
- Checked 7 Oct 2026.
- Not verified: what the suffixes (-Q, -LQ, -D, B/C) mean, since no certificate defines them; whether CP Plus completed the End-of-Life library review that certificates ER/018–023 required; any BIS R-number for these models; datasheet specs (IP rating, IR range, RTSP path). None of these is printed on the certificates.
Registry status: the list stopped growing
Do not treat the STQC list as a live register. The notice sits on the IoTSCS scheme page, not the list page: the list "pertaining to PPO certification of Network Camera(s) is no longer being updated and is retained solely for historical reference". The same page cites MeitY circular No. W-18/26/2025-IPHW dated 04.02.2026, after which STQC "will issue the test report for Security as per the Essential Requirements (ERs) under CRO". CRO is MeitY's Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021; BIS lists CCTV cameras under that Compulsory Registration Scheme, with the Essential Requirements for CCTV added by S.O. 1652(E) of 9 April 2024. A CP Plus camera certified after the freeze will not be in this table; check its BIS registration number instead. Existing certificates keep their printed expiry dates. The last certificate added to the list is CP Plus ER/70, dated 07.01.2026.

Caveats, as printed:
- Pre-production sample (ER/010, 011): the submitted product "was observed to be a not productionize sample"; production was to start after certification. Both run under three years, to 17.07.2027; later certificates run three.
- EoL review (ER/018, 021–023): the model "has to undergo review to identify addressing of End of Life libraries" within six months of STQC letter STQC/IT&E-Gov/2025/01 dated 23.04.2025. That window closed around October 2025; the PDFs do not show whether it was done.
- List-page typo: the STQC list prints ER/023 as "SSTQC/IOTSCS/ER/023"; the PDF prints STQC/IOTSCS/ER/023. Quote the PDF.
- ER/70: the cover prints CP-UNC-TC81L5C-VMD-LQ "(Lead)"; the annexure, used here, does not. CP-UNC-VC81L5C-VMD-LQ is printed as "Mobile Camera".
Suffix variants: every string is a separate model
- -Q vs -LQ: CP-UNC-TA41L3C-Q and -LQ are both on ER/023; CP-UNC-TA21L3C-Q is on ER/022 but CP-UNC-TA21L3C-LQ on ER/021.
- -D- inserted: CP-UNC-DA41L3C-Q (ER/023), CP-UNC-DA41L3C-D-Q (ER/022) and CP-UNC-DA41L3C-D-LQ (ER/021) are three rows.
- B vs C: CP-UNC-TA21L3B-LQ (ER/022) vs CP-UNC-TA21L3C-LQ (ER/021).
No certificate defines these letters, so we don't guess. If a quote or box label differs from the certificate string by one character, it is not that certificate's model.
What the certificate does not prove
ER/71's printed remarks set the limits:
- It "applies only to specific version and release of the product in its evaluated configuration". ER/71's annexure pins firmware V3.120.00HD001.0.R (ER/70's annexure prints the same version).
- It "is not an endorsement of the product by any agency of the Government of the India" (sic), with no warranty expressed or implied.
- "The camera supports configuration options that may be insecure"; secure configuration is the user's responsibility.
- Post-certification changes must be reported to the certification body.
It says nothing about IP rating, heat, IR range, RTSP/ONVIF behaviour or BIS registration. For those, use the datasheet and the CP Plus RTSP and ONVIF setup reference.
Where brands differ
On the frozen list CP Plus has 45 models on 10 certificates; Prama has 58 on 27. CP Plus holds the latest expiry on the list (06.01.2029) and two of the earliest (17.07.2027; only Sparsh ER/001, 004 and 005 lapse sooner). Totals come from our transcription of all 53 certificates (196 models). Cross-brand view with datasheet specs: STQC-certified cameras for factories.
What breaks in a factory
- Firmware drift. A firmware update to fix NVR compatibility moves an ER/70 or ER/71 camera off V3.120.00HD001.0.R. Record firmware at handover; the CP Plus reset, NTP and static IP guide lists what else to note.
- Insecure options left on. Default credentials on a flat shop-floor network are the "insecure settings" the certificate disclaims. Use a camera VLAN and change passwords.
- Look-alike siblings. Audit by the label on each camera body, not the purchase order: a -Q and an -LQ unit are different certificate rows.
When to call the installer / what to ask the vendor
Ask in writing for: the exact model string and the certificate PDF naming it; shipped firmware versus the annexure version; for ER/018–023 models, proof the End-of-Life review was completed; the BIS registration number for anything bought after the freeze. Our tender specification template has these clauses.
Mama reads existing cameras over RTSP/ONVIF and tells the owner how long machines sat idle each day, so a certified CP Plus fleet can stay in place. See how Mama works, or leave an email or phone in the form below and Mama will get back to you.
FAQ
Is CP Plus STQC certified? Specific models are, not the brand. The STQC ER list names 45 CP Plus model strings on 10 certificates. A model not printed on one of those PDFs is not covered.
How do I check if a CCTV camera is STQC certified? Open the certificate PDF, find the exact model string (suffix included), then check the expiry date and the firmware version printed in the annexure. Use the certificate number printed in the PDF, not the list page's.
